Compact STM32F405 Flight Controller

The F405-miniTE combines an STM32F405RGT6 MCU with a 28 × 28 mm board format. The flight-controller board weighs 5 g according to Matek's specification.

OSD, Barometer and Blackbox Flash

The board integrates an AT7456E OSD chip, a Goertek SPL06-001 barometer and 16M-byte flash memory for blackbox logging. The onboard barometer is not supported by Betaflight.

Dual Regulated Outputs

Onboard regulators provide 5 V at 1.7 A, with a stated 2 A maximum, and a switchable 10 V output rated at 1.4 A. A stable 10 V output requires an input above 11 V.

Flexible Mounting and Connections

Firmware and Installation Notes

Confirm whether the delivered board has an ICM42605 or ICM42688-P gyroscope before selecting firmware. Matek states that Betaflight 4.2.x does not support the ICM42688-P revision.
The Betaflight target specified by Matek is MATEKF405TE. The board also has manufacturer-listed INAV and ArduPilot firmware options.
Although the SPL06-001 barometer is physically onboard, Matek states that Betaflight does not support it.
For a stable 10 V BEC output, supply more than 11 V. At an input of 11 V or less, Matek specifies the output as approximately 90% of the input voltage.
Confirm the supplied board revision and included mounting accessories before assembly. Remove propellers during configuration and motor testing.
